This one is just at a very low tide. Where Colleen is sitting will be covered with over 18 feet of water in less then 6 hours. The Ocean really changes and so does our beach.

This blog site only lets me post short videos so the link to YouTube is of a typical drive home, when we ran into a cattle drive. Cattle have the right of way on most roads in Panama. This is through Guarumal it is the closest little burg to our house. We live a very agricultural area. We always have to pass tractors and pull over for combines. Rice, corn and watermelons are all very popular. We can stop and buy watermelon right out of the field. We have 3 watermelons growing at home now. We also grow tomatoes and pineapple. It takes about 2 or 3 years for the first time a plant gives a pineapple and the next time it gives fruit in about a year.

This vedio is a cattle drive after the heavy rains. This is from our back porch. The next one show some of the same the raiy season here gives us bout 1.2 inches per day.
